Embrace Your Wholeness, Awaken Your Spirit, And Empower Your Journey With Spirit Hollow

Transforming consciousness one extraordinary being at a time

Spirit Hollow’s mission is to guide, support, and empower individuals to embody their wholeness, to step into psychospiritual maturity and to ripen into the fullness of their authentic selves, finding and living their Earth-rooted destinies in service of the Great Turning.

Founded on the innate understanding that love is the most powerful force, we help people to cultivate active, intimate partnerships with the animate Earth, with their own personal mythos, and with one another, thus becoming agents of change in the re-visioning and re-enchantment of the world.

Through hands-on, nature-based, soul-centric programs, and experiments in ecological living, individuals gain tools with which to live meaningfully in these unprecedented times.

Our offerings are rooted in the Dreaming Earth, deep ecology, the power of community and the unshakable belief in our mutual interdependence with all things.

We are way showers and crossroads guides, soul midwives and orienteers of Mystery, helping humans navigate the initiatory terrain of nature and psyche, thereby discovering their own unique, mythopoetic niches in the wider Earth community.

Spirit Hollow is committed to helping reimagine and recreate a life-enhancing, genuinely healthy culture, one in which youth are supported in eco-centric development by initiated adults and true elders, one that is in collaboration with the myriad other-than-humans, and one that is in reverential service to the ancestors and those yet to come.

By planting and nurturing seeds for the future ones, we inspire & support purposeful humans in bringing forth their most soulful gifts to shape a new world.

“And into the forest I go
to lose my mind and find my soul.”

FEATURED EVENT

Craft Of CounciL

As CeremoNy

A Training for Facilitators, Guides and Space Holders

For budding or blossoming holders of sacred spaces, soul-centric leaders and guides, this weekend will give you a basket of resources you can begin to use immediately in your own communities.  More than just a process of passing a talking piece, council is a ceremonial offering of reverence and communion.

Ceremony alone is a potent way of being in stirring conversation with Mystery and nature, of invoking the Sacred, of gifting our ecological selves in a rapturous participatory dance with all that is.   When council is consciously conducted as ceremony, participants enter into this dance, surrendering to the magic of being alive and to being shaped by the depths.

Yurt Raising Weekend

May 11 - 12, 2004

Come help us raise our new 30' Pacific Yurt!
Like a barn raising -- raising a yurt is such a fun community event.

It's so exciting that Spirit Hollow is getting this new, much bigger space for gatherings, trainings, workshops, dance and yoga events. Thanks to a generous donation from a Spirit Hollow friend!

The platform will be finished and awaiting the yurt. All you need is yourself, a pair of work gloves and a screw gun if you have one.

Spirit Hollow will provide lunch on both days, and if you wish to stay the night (in the old yurt or in your own tent), bring a potluck dish to share on Saturday evening and your own breakfast for Sunday.

And there’s no obligation to come both days. The first day is the most important— that’s Saturday. The second day is finishing touches, so come as you can.

Please RSVP to info@spirithollow.org, so we know how much lunch to prepare!

Wild Immersions

Connect to your pure and beautiful humanness, whole fragmented parts, join in rich council-based community, and fall in love with the animate Earth, the other-than-human beings, and the challenges and opportunities of these times.

Through highly experiential practices, ranging from embodied dreamwork and deep imagery, authentic movement and drumming, to play and ceremony, core wound and shadow work, our seasoned guides create openings for you to draw closer to your own personal mythos and soul niche.  Wanders in the forest and council circles are central to our practices.

Summer Camps

Our camps are designed to honor the unique, beautiful, creative soul in each child or teen, to foster love of self, community, and nature and to create meaningful experiences that build confidence, inner light and lasting friendships.

By gathering in an inclusive circle in the forest, campers access the wisdom of the land and freely explore their wild selves. Nature immersion is a potent antidote to the separation and over-saturation of technology and consumer culture. Campers come back to a sense of authenticity and deep belonging.

Earth Craft Gap Semester

Earth Craft is a place-based semester program for 18-26 year-olds, tucked in the Taconic Mountains in the southwest corner of Vermont and New York on the shared lands of Spirit Hollow and Pompanuck Farm. This experiential learning immersion focuses on soul-centric personal development, cultivating practical living skills, enhancing deep connections to Earth, to create meaningful lives and life-enhancing communities. During our eight weeks together at Earth Craft, we will collectively re-create culture and build a soulful, place-based and eco-centric community in complete microcosm.

Soul Sessions

Embark on a journey of personal healing, discovery, awe, and spiritual revelation to feel fully alive, at home, and embodied. In one-on-one sessions, Tracey Forest will help you find pathways into wholeness and healing, rooted in exploring your inner landscape and your intrinsic place in the dreaming Earth.

Through soul-centric mentoring, dreamwork, and mirroring, you’ll be guided to access your own resources and tools, to get unstuck, to resolve old core issues, to heal core wounds, and to bring home parts of yourself that have been buried.

About Us

Tucked in the Taconic Mountains of Southwestern Vermont, Spirit Hollow is situated on 100 forested acres and surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest Land. The Center was established in 2000 on the slopes of Grass Mountain.

Spirit Hollow is both a wilderness retreat and a non-profit organization. Workshops are held in the Brook Yurt and out on the sacred land. In the geodesic dome, Tracey Forest and her family and animals live, and ceremonies are held around one of the fire circles, in the yurt and the Medicine Wheel Garden or along the banks of Oracle Brook. In the woods that surround us, there are trails to wander and streams to meditate by. In the summertime, visitors can stay in one of our four tent cabins and enjoy our organic vegetable garden.

We are putting up a new 30’ Yurt Spring 2024, which will more than double our space!
