<p class="MsoNormal">I thought that it was important to point out some of the features that this forum has to offer. Also if you have any questions or comments about the forum or website you can put it here.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">There is a list below with an explanation of the feature…</p> <ul> <li><o:p></o:p><strong>Account Picture</strong> – So this is for your profile page, you can have a photo of yourself in here to show people what you look like. Or you can have your favorite pet… What you need to do is have the photo already posted somewhere on the internet. I like to use flickr for all my photo needs. Its free and an excellent website.</li> <li><strong>Icon</strong> – This is for your discussions. You can upload an icon for your name to a website like flickr. Just make sure you grab the link to your photo and post it in there.</li> <li><strong>Flickr Feed</strong> – If you have a flickr account you can have it linked to your profile and people can see small icons of your photos that you are sharing on flickr.</li> <li><strong>Custom Signature</strong> – You can have a custom signature for all your discussions and anything else you post up in the forum.</li> <li><strong>Add Custom Information</strong> – here you can have extra stuff listed like your birthday or your website or even your private email address (not recommended). You can add as many as you would like.</li> <li><strong>Manage Map Location</strong> – This to show where you are in the world in relation to Spirit Hollow. You need to know your Latitude and Longitude unfortunately. You can use the link on the Manage Map Location page to get your coordinates. You can also use your cell phone if it is capable of giving you your GPS location information. That is what I did. Just make sure you are where you want to be in order to get your GPS info. I do recommend that you do not stand in front of your house when you do it. I would go a few blocks away and then get the information. For safety reasons.</li> <li><strong>Wall</strong> - There is also a Wall in your profile for people to write good things about you. Or you can write something about yourself if you want. Just click on Write underneath the Wall and write away...</li> <li><strong>Private messaging or whisper</strong>– you can send messages to your friends and no one else will see it.</li> <li><strong>Change Stylesheet</strong> – This is where you can change the theme to your liking. This will only effect you and no one else. I installed all the themes available for this forum. So there is plenty to choose from.</li> <li><strong>Insert Photos</strong> - You can insert photos into your post or even videos (enjoy the video I thought that it was cool to watch). As seen below.</li> <li><strong>Attachments</strong> - You can attach a photo to the discussion or a document. There is an Attachements space on the bottom of every box.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>I am working on getting a spell checker installed into the forum so people don't have to deal with misspellings all the time. <p>I have installed a new function for everyone. I understand people would like to have there photos in there profiles, well now you can upload a photo to the server if you have a photo just go the your <strong>Account Page</strong> and on the site you will see <strong>Account Pictures</strong>. Hi! I love the new web site!! Really beautiful! So, I went to sign in and this page about the Vanilla something came up and I clicked on whatever and then I got the message that it was already installed, etc., etc. and I have no idea what that means and what, if anything, I need to do. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!!
I think that you just got a gliched thats all. I ran a check on the system and it seems to be working fine. So don't worry about it. If it happeneds again just make sure you write down what it was that it was telling you and submit it. Thanks again...
Whispers are just private messages to other users on the system. What you do is click on the users name you want to talk to and then click on Send Private Message on the side. It will bring up a mail box where you just type in your letter to the user and then click send. Thats it.

To check your own mail box for letters there is a Inbox at the top of the screen just click on that to get to the inbox. You can also send private messages from there just click on the Send Private Message box and then type in the persons username and type in your message. The just click send... Thats it...
As long as you're still signed into Echoes, you can get back to the Spirit Hollow page by hitting your "Back" button several times. You can get back to Echoes by hitting the Echoes tab from wherever you are on the Spirit Hollow page. If you sign out, looks like the only way to get back to the SH page is through your bookmark.
Michel is looking into a tab or button on Echoes that will take you directly to the SH home page, but we haven't got one yet.
I think the site looks good for the most part.I do have some problems with the layers not lining up correctly in Firefox/2.0.0.6 on Linux but it is only with certain things like the calendar on the main page and the personal icons here on the board.
With a few settings and a change of style sheet I have everything looking just perfect now in Firefox and Opera except the accuweather always on top of the of the calendar mouse over.
A beautiful website and a wonderful job, My compliments, I am looking forward to show all my friends.

Thanks for your efforts but doing any modifying in the style sheet will break the other operating systems that it does work on. I am aware of the problem and we can not accommodate all platforms. We are working to see if there are other ways to fix this problem without breaking the other platforms that it does work on.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the both of you for all that you do to keep the Spirit Hollow website up and running. And what a FAB website it is!!! Being as unsophisticated as I am with "all things Internet", I can't even imagine how much work it must be to maintain the site---you two ROCK---thank you!!!!!
