OASIS: Intergenerational Council for the Young, is a group that has formed in response to these intense times we are living through. Many teens and young adults are grappling with feelings of isolation, depression, anxiety or a sense of existential/climate doom.
As teachers, parents, healers, therapists, guides and lovers of life, we as a group of soulful adults with many different skills and tools, have come together to offer an ONGOING support circle to help. We also recognize the wisdom that the young ones carry and we see this as an intergenerational dialogue and exchange.
Our intention is to weave together a safe space for young people to come and share their worries, their pain, their despair–and also their excitements, breakthroughs, triumphs and wonderings. In this totally non-judgmental space, we will lovingly witness you, reflect what we see in your, offer community and tools to help you feel grounded and connected.
Anyone ages 15-24 who feels this speaks to them is welcome to attend.
As we go forward, we will possibly split into two groups, (15-18) (19-24), but for this first session, we invite you all.
