Soul Centric DreamWorK

James Hillman wrote, “We cannot understand the dream until enter it”

Dreams are alluring, enchanting, confusing and sometimes disturbing. In many in-tact communities, people share their dreams in the mornings to connect and retrieve images and stirrings from the nightworld, realizing that sometimes Mystery is offering potent images, symbols and teachings for the whole community.

Our soulcentric approach to dreams doesn’t interpret dreams, but rather it holds every dream as an embodied invitation to our unfolding soul stories. By amplifying our intimacy with our dreams, we open doors to the soul scape and begin to attune to the Earth’s dream through us as individuals and as members in our circle.

Dreamwork is an essential part of our work in Key and Compass. We will become adept at working with our own dreams (and perhaps more accurately, to allow the dreams to do their work ON US). We learn how to invoke and record dreams, track dream themes, to re-enter our dreams and be in direct dialogue with the dream and its characters and then to allow the Mystery of the dreams to shape us through movement, deep imagery, and wandering on the land.

In Year Two, we will learn to help others to work with their own dreams, to unlock their deeper soul stirrings and guidance from Gaia.
